AMD is seeking a DDR / Memory PHY Post Silicon Validation Engineer to join their team in Austin, TX. The role involves providing systems engineering and post-silicon support for HBM/DDR/LPDDR Memory interface IP.
About the Role
As a member of the IO and Circuit Technologies Group, you will work closely with various engineering teams to productize high-performance memory interface IPs on silicon. Your responsibilities will include new product bring-up support, debugging silicon validation issues, and engaging with design teams for pre-silicon activities. You will also perform and review analog circuit and mixed-signal design/analysis for high-speed I/O and Memory Interface IP.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills related to post-silicon debug and pre-silicon issues.
Preferred:
- Experience in high-speed I/O design, including Tx, Rx, PLL/DLL, and equalization techniques.
- Proficiency in Python and/or Perl for test scripts and data analysis.
- Familiarity with UNIX and Windows environments.
- Basic understanding of Verilog RTL and digital circuits.
- Laboratory experience with oscilloscopes, signal generators, and logic analyzers.
