Summary
INNOVIM is seeking a Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) Engineer to join their team supporting the Integrated Research and Development for Enterprise Solutions (IRES) program at the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) in Colorado Springs, CO.
About the Role
As a Defense Red Switch Network (DRSN) Engineer, you will maintain secure voice and data communications systems for the Missile Defense Agency, provide technical expertise for telecommunications programs, document daily responsibilities, and perform maintenance on DRSN equipment. You will also manage databases, monitor system performance, and ensure timely responses to client service requests.
About You
Required:
- 2 or more years of directly related DRSN experience.
- Experience with DRSN nodal maintenance and secure communications instruments (i.e. STE, vIPer, VoSIP, IST-2, TXP & DMCC).
- Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (ex: Security+).
- Active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance w/ SCI Eligibility.
Preferred:
- Red Switch certificate of training or 4 years of Red Switch experience.
- Certified for Command and Control Switching Systems (CCSS) operation and Maintenance Functions.
- Strong technical and hands-on experience with DRSN and DSS networks.
- Knowledge of encryption hardware used in DRSN/DSS networks.
- Experience supporting operational networks, tech-control environments, crypto maintenance, COMSEC, or systems administration.
- Current CISSP certification.
