About the Role
As a Deli-Bakery Clerk, you will be responsible for promoting trust and respect among associates, creating a welcoming environment for customers, slicing deli meats and cheeses, preparing bakery items, offering product samples, ensuring product freshness, and adhering to food safety regulations. You will also manage inventory, maintain equipment, and provide support to customers, including those with special needs.
About You
Required:
- Ability to handle stressful situations.
- Effective communication skills.
- Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction).
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred:
- Retail experience.
- Second language (speaking, reading and/or writing).
