About the Role
As a Deli/Coffee Shop Barista, you will be responsible for exceeding service standards by delivering prompt and quality coffee selection and preparation. Your daily tasks will include greeting customers, maintaining cleanliness, preparing beverage orders, and following store policies and procedures. You will also need to work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment and manage conflicts in a nonconfrontational manner.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED, plus six months of experience in customer service.
- Ability to complete Initial Store Training and pass barista certification with a score of 90% or better.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on weekends.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of company policies and procedures.
- Familiarity with industry/technical terms and processes.
