CORT is hiring a Delivery Driver / Furniture Assembler to join their team in Oklahoma City, OK. The role involves loading, delivering, and assembling furniture for customers while ensuring a positive experience.
About the Role
As a Delivery Driver / Furniture Assembler, you will start your day at the warehouse, review your route, and drive a 26-foot box truck to deliver and install furniture at customers' homes or offices. You will also assist in the warehouse as needed, which may include loading and unloading furniture.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- 21 years of age or older.
- Valid and current driver’s license in the state of residency.
- A minimum of 12 months professional experience driving a 24-foot box truck or larger commercial vehicle.
- Physically able and willing to move furniture indoors, outdoors, up or down stairs and in all weather conditions; ability to lift 100+ pounds with a partner.
- Ability to comply with Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration regulations.
- Ability to maintain a valid DOT Medical Evaluator Certificate, which includes passing a physical and drug screening.
- Ability to successfully pass a road test based on FMCSA/CORT requirements.
Preferred:
- 1 year of experience preferred driving a commercial vehicle.
- Acceptable MVR per CORT’s Safe Driving Standards.
