Summary
Zufall Health is seeking a Dental Assistant to join their team in Bridgewater, NJ. The role involves assisting dentists and dental hygienists in providing primary care dental services and managing sterilization and inventory control.
About the Role
As a Dental Assistant, you will serve as a chair-side assistant to dentists and dental hygienists, prepare treatment areas, assist patients, expose and develop dental radiographs, maintain equipment, ensure compliance with infection control protocols, and manage patient records. You will also participate in health promotion activities and may need to travel between sites as required.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED certificate.
- Comprehensive knowledge of dental assisting techniques and procedures for all phases of general dentistry.
- Effective oral and written communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Current CPR (BLS) certification.
- Valid Radiology license in NJ.
Preferred:
- Completion of an accredited course in dental assisting.
- Certified Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
