About the Role
As a Dental Front Office Clerk Dental Assistant, you will serve as an ambassador for Wesley Health Center, welcoming patients and managing their expectations. Your responsibilities will include administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, verifying patient eligibility, and maintaining accurate records. You will also assist dentists in providing primary dental care, ensuring proper sterilization and inventory control of dental instruments, and adhering to infection control protocols.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED certificate required.
- Completion of an accredited course in dental assisting.
- X-Ray, infection control, and current CPR and First Aid certificates required.
- Two years’ experience working in a dental front office area or front desk.
- Bilingual: English /Spanish is required.
Preferred:
- Certification as a Registered Dental Assistant or Dental Assistant.
- Experience with working with preferably NextGen and/or Dentrix.
- One year of experience performing financial support duties.
- Dental Billing with two years of experience.
