Summary
Acuity International is seeking a Dentist - Corrections (Notional) to provide professional dental care for inmates/residents in Huerfano County, CO. This position is contingent upon contract award.
About the Role
As a Dentist in a correctional facility, you will perform routine dental treatments, diagnose and develop treatment plans, supervise the dental program, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. You will also manage dental records, coordinate with healthcare staff, and maintain a secure and clean work environment.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an approved school of dentistry and licensure as a dentist in the state of employment.
- At least one year of experience preferred.
- BLS certification.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of correctional custody methods and techniques.
Preferred:
- A valid driver's license.
- Experience in a correctional setting.
