About the Role
As a Department Manager, you will report directly to the Plant Manager and be accountable for ensuring safety, quality, on-time delivery, and productivity. Your responsibilities will include leading safety programs, developing staff, managing production schedules, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives. You will also assist in budget preparation and maintain compliance with manufacturing practices and regulations.
About You
Required:
- Associate degree or equivalent experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent.
- Proven record of safety leadership.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Preferred:
- Previous education and/or training in manufacturing, engineering, safety or related field.
- Ability to complete Red Cross 1st Aid & CPR/AED certification.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English.
