Deputy General Counsel, Healthcare (Vice President and General Counsel)

Inside Higher Ed is seeking a Deputy General Counsel, Healthcare (Vice President and General Counsel) to join their team in Baltimore, MD. The role involves providing legal advice and counsel to the President and other members of the University community on significant legal matters related to healthcare.

As the Deputy General Counsel, Healthcare, you will serve as a strategic partner to the General Counsel, managing legal work within the Healthcare group and overseeing relationships with outside counsel. You will provide proactive legal advice on clinical activities, medical student training, and navigate legal challenges while supervising a legal team. Your responsibilities will include advising on transactions, compliance issues, and governance matters, as well as representing the General Counsel when needed.
