Summary
HDR is seeking a Design Coordinator (Architecture) to join their team in Denver, CO. The role involves evaluating and applying architectural techniques, performing architectural assignments, and assisting in all phases of the architectural process.
About the Role
As a Design Coordinator for Architecture, you will evaluate, select, and apply architectural techniques to construction documents, perform assignments with general instruction, work with clients to recommend procedures, write specifications, and assist Project Architects and other team members as needed. Your contributions will help create spaces that advance community well-being and address societal challenges.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or closely related field.
- Must possess credentials to obtain future registration.
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project).
- Desire to pursue growth opportunities and eventually obtain registration.
- Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in use of Autodesk Revit and familiarity with related tools and processes.
- Demonstrated graphic presentation skills.
- Commitment to being an active participant in an employee-owned culture.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Architecture.
- Experience in educational, civic, science, and research facilities.
- Experience and/or interest in sustainable design/LEED.
- Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and 3-D Studio Max.
- Experience with Rhino and Grasshopper.
