Bowman Consulting is seeking a Design Engineer, PV Systems to join their team remotely. The role involves executing various levels of drafting and analysis for utility and commercial scale PV design projects.
About the Role
As a Design Engineer, PV Systems, you will be responsible for participating in the design and development of electrical plan sets, drafting equipment layouts, coordinating with design engineers, and generating single line diagrams. You will also assist in marketing the firm's capabilities, communicate effectively with team members and clients, and ensure project milestones are met within budget.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related engineering discipline.
- Entry level position, no prior experience required.
Preferred:
- Two or more (2+) years of relevant experience in the Solar PV industry.
- NABCEP Certified PV Installation Professional.
- High proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Experience with PV system modeling software such as PVsyst, Helioscope and/or Homer.
- Ability to perform shading analyses.
- Energy storage system design experience.
