Jacobs is seeking a Design Manager - Ports & Maritime to join their team in Seattle, WA. The role involves leading project design teams for delivering various design projects in Washington State and supporting other projects in the Pacific Northwest Region.
About the Role
As a Design Manager, you will be a key member of the Project Delivery Team, responsible for technical coordination between clients and multi-disciplinary design teams. You will provide senior design leadership, manage project design schedules, ensure compliance with contract agreements, and resolve design conflicts. Your role will also involve mentoring team members and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality design documents.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in ports and maritime facility design, design management, or design delivery for large-scale infrastructure projects valued at $50M or more.
Preferred:
- Professional Engineer registration in Washington State.
- Experience in the design and/or construction of ferry terminals, marine terminals, and related infrastructure.
