Jacobs is seeking a Design Manager - Ports & Maritime to join their team in Spokane, WA. The role involves leading project design teams for delivering various design projects in Washington State and supporting other projects in the Pacific Northwest Region.
About the Role
As a Design Manager, you will be a key member of the Project Delivery Team, responsible for technical coordination between clients and multi-disciplinary design teams. You will provide senior design leadership, mentor team members, manage project design schedules, and ensure compliance with contract agreements while maintaining project quality and efficiency.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
- 10-15 years of experience in ports and maritime facility design, design management, or design delivery for large-scale infrastructure projects valued at $50M or more.
Preferred:
- Professional Engineer registration in Washington State.
- Experience in the design and/or construction of ferry terminals, marine terminals, and related infrastructure.
