Summary
Stellantis is seeking a Design Release Engineer – Intake Air Handling System to join their team in Auburn Hills, MI. The role involves the design, development, and technical leadership in the creation, validation, and release of engine air intake systems.
About the Role
As a Design Release Engineer, you will lead the design of intake air handling system hardware, manage design release activities, provide technical guidance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of designs. You will also develop and maintain engineering documentation and report on project status to senior management.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering or related degree field.
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience working with design and manufacturing of turbocharger components.
- Understanding of engine components related manufacturing processes.
- Strong interpersonal communication and project management skills.
Preferred:
- Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering.
- Working experience in creation and execution of validation plans.
- Experience with 3D CAD programs, preferably Siemens NX.
