Summary
CannonDesign is seeking a Designer II to join their team in Buffalo, NY. The role involves contributing to architectural design and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team under the supervision of a Licensed Architect.
About the Role
As a Designer II, you will independently and collaboratively contribute to conceptual and architectural design, prepare design presentations, assist in BIM model production, coordinate with other disciplines, and participate in project meetings. You may also take on leadership roles within project teams and review shop drawings.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of related professional experience.
- Strong creative design portfolio.
- Strong communication, teamwork, presentation, graphics, and organizational skills.
- Experience with real-time rendering and 3D rendering software such as Enscape, Twinmotion, and/or V-Ray.
Preferred:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Architecture from an accredited program.
- Some experience in computational design tools such as Grasshopper and Dynamo.
- Actively pursuing Architectural Registration in the United States.
- LEED accreditation.
