Summary
Cognizant is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join their team for a full-time opportunity onsite in Durham, North Carolina.
About the Role
As a Desktop Support Technician, you will be responsible for providing Install, Move Add Change (IMAC), Break-Fix, and end user support activities. Your tasks will include supporting handhelds, laptops, and scanner devices, performing data collection and preservation activities, staging and building systems with standard client images, and providing physical access to vendors in communication rooms and data centers.
About You
Required:
- Four plus years of experience in supporting laptops, handheld and scanner devices.
- Advanced communication skills to collaborate with multiple teams on high priority issues.
Preferred:
- Experience in supporting overall manufacturing/lab IT systems and IT devices.
- Ability to resolve complex client computing problems for business customers and IT service areas.
