Hillel International is seeking a Development & Events Manager to join their team at the University of Kansas Hillel. The role focuses on connecting people and raising vital funds to support Jewish life on campus.
About the Role
As the Development & Events Manager, you will cultivate donor relationships, develop annual fundraising plans, and execute fundraising campaigns. You will also plan and coordinate events, manage donor databases, and oversee grant applications. This hybrid role requires collaboration with the Executive Director and Board of Directors, and occasional travel to support community engagement.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2+ years experience in development leadership, nonprofit management, or major gifts fundraising.
- Proficiency in donor software, data analysis, and financial oversight.
- Excellent communication, listening, and relationship-building skills.
- Passion for Jewish life, higher education, and student engagement.
Preferred:
- Familiarity with Google Suite, Canva, and social media marketing platforms.
- Creative problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new solutions.
