About You
- 3 years+ of experience working in a nonprofit, communications, marketing, or other related field.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects.
- Familiarity with donor databases, preferably Neon.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Canva/Adobe Creative Suite.
- Knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively and individually.
- Proactive approach and willingness to learn new skills.
- Commitment to ACHIEVEability's mission and to advancing equity and opportunity.

Since 1981, ACHIEVEability has partnered with Philadelphians to provide services that build the foundation for self-sufficiency and long-term success. Every year, our core programs reach over 2,800 individuals, including families, business owners, seniors, and neighborhood leaders. In the Family Self-Sufficiency Program, we support families experiencing or at-risk of homelessness by providing affordable housing and a coaching team while they commit to pursuing a post-secondary education to overcome poverty. In ACHIEVEability Connects, we connect residents to services to meet their basic needs and access digital resources. We also improve neighborhood conditions through small business support and corridor management. In WorkSmart West Philly, we partner with our neighbors to help them find jobs and develop workforce skills like digital literacy.
