Summary
Jewish Big Brothers Big Sisters of Greater Boston is seeking a Development Associate to join their Development Team in Waltham, MA. The role involves increasing visibility, impact, and financial resources for the organization.
About the Role
As a Development Associate, you will manage and solicit a personal portfolio of donors, collaborate with the Director of Philanthropy to secure financial support, design and implement a new monthly giving program, and lead donor events. You will also manage the master grant calendar and coordinate with grant writers to ensure all deadlines are met.
About You
Required:
- Highly organized with the ability to work effectively and collaboratively.
- Bachelor’s degree and 2-3 years of fundraising experience preferred.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, comfortable interacting with donors and volunteers.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office Suite skills (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred:
- Experience with databases is strongly preferred.
- Flexibility for occasional work outside of normal business hours for events and programs.
