Summary

First Solar is seeking a Development Engineering Technician I - C Crew/Day Crew to join their team in Perrysburg, OH. The role involves supporting DE tests in the Research and Development line and troubleshooting tool/process issues.

About the Role

As a Development Engineering Technician I, you will be responsible for interpreting engineering instructions into actions, assisting in troubleshooting, compiling and analyzing test data, and ensuring proper startup and shutdown of wet tools. You will also adjust wet tool parameters to achieve desired experimental outcomes while working under daily supervision and following standard procedures.

About You

Required:

High School Diploma or equivalent and 4 years of relevant technical experience or 2 years of experience as an Engineering Test Support II at First Solar.
Ability to perform sample testing, semiconductor device fabrication and/or electrical or optical measurements.
Intermediate knowledge in MS Office and some knowledge of SQL/JMP.

Preferred:

Associate’s Degree in an engineering discipline or similar technical discipline and 2 years of relevant technical experience or 1 year of experience as an Engineering Test Support II at First Solar.
Ability to learn the operation, calibration, and preventative maintenance of process equipment and systems.
