Texas Instruments is seeking a DevOps Engineer – Semiconductor EDA Tools & Automation to join their team in Dallas, TX. The role focuses on architecting, automating, and optimizing environments for Electronic Design Automation (EDA) workloads.
About the Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will design, automate, and manage DevOps pipelines for deploying and operating semiconductor EDA tools in both on-prem and cloud environments. You will collaborate with EDA tool vendors and internal teams to build scalable infrastructure for simulation and design workloads, ensuring robust cybersecurity controls and compliance. Your responsibilities will also include troubleshooting and enhancing the performance of EDA workloads and DevOps pipelines.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years hands-on experience automating and deploying EDA tools in enterprise environments.
Preferred:
- Strong background in DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code.
- Experience with LSF or Slurm job schedulers for high-performance compute workloads.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and hybrid infrastructure.
- Experience supporting semiconductor design, simulation, or verification workloads at scale.
- Knowledge of network and storage architecture for high-throughput environments.
- Solid Linux administration skills.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
