Broadcom is seeking a DFT Engineer to join their CSG division in San Jose, CA. The role involves leading complex network switching ASIC DFx from architecture to implementation and verification.
About the Role
As a DFT Engineer, you will be responsible for driving test quality from design to production, participating in silicon bring-up and characterization, and defining and implementing various DFx features. You will work on state-of-the-art testability, debug, and quality to deliver low DPPM while optimizing test costs.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and 8+ years of related experience.
Knowledge of testability techniques (SCAN, Built-in-Self-Tests, Loop-Backs) covering digital logic, embedded memories, and PHY/IOs.
Experience with Mentor/Siemens DFT Tessent tool and Cadence DFT tools (Modus and Genus).
Strong knowledge of logic and circuit design fundamentals.
Working knowledge of TCL and Perl.
Preferred:
Experience in implementation of MBIST for memories and knowledge of repair schemes.
Familiarity with SERDES, Analog/mixed-signal DFT techniques.
Post-silicon experience in pattern conversion for testers and silicon characterization.
Experience in back-end chip design, timing, and CDC flows.
