The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures and supporting interventional cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology studies.
About the Role
As a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist, you will support the Cardiovascular-Interventional and Electrophysiology labs by performing routine diagnostic imaging procedures, interventional cardiac catheterization, and electrophysiology studies. You will also be responsible for the setup and operation of specialized equipment, administration of contrast media under supervision, and ensuring patient identification and verification per JCAHO standards. Continuous assessment of image quality and equipment performance will also be part of your responsibilities.
About You
Required:
- Completion of a full-time post-high school diagnostic radiologic technology program (minimum 24 months).
- Must hold a certificate or associate degree.
- Program must be accredited by JRCERT or other DOE-recognized accrediting bodies.
- Minimum of 1 year of direct patient care experience within the last 3 years.
- Must have computer literacy (CPRS, VISTA, PACS systems).
Preferred:
- Scrub tech experience, cardiovascular, interventional radiology, or vascular certifications.
- Experience in Cath Lab, interventional labs, and experience with hemodynamics.
