About the Role
As a Diagnostic Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all general diagnostic radiographic exams and may also be cross-trained in other imaging modalities. You will operate X-ray equipment, manipulate digital images, and prepare patient rooms and supplies. The position may require you to take on Technologist-In-Charge duties and float to remote locations as needed.
About You
Required:
- Current full Certificate of Radiologic Technology issued by the Department of Health Services, State of California (CRT) (to be obtained within 6 months of hire).
- Current CPR Certification.
- Fluoroscopy Permit (to be obtained within 6 months of hire).
- Demonstrated knowledge of human anatomy and function, patient care, positioning, principles of radiographic exposure, quality assurance, radiation physics, radiation protection, and radiobiology.
Preferred:
- Two years’ experience in diagnostic x-ray in an acute care setting.
- Current licensure issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Excellent communication skills and problem-solving techniques.
