About the Role
As a Die Repair Technician, you will be responsible for making repairs and changes to die cast tooling, working from blueprints and drawings, and using precision measuring tools. Your tasks will include analyzing tooling problems, conducting test runs, and ensuring that finished parts meet specifications. You will also be expected to follow safety rules and promote continuous improvement within the department.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Some vocational training or job-related coursework.
- 1-2 years experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
Preferred:
- Experience with standard tool room equipment such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers.
