Diener-Body Donation Program

Inside Higher Ed is seeking a Diener for the Body Donation Program to join their team in Columbus, OH. The role involves preparing anatomical materials and facilitating operations of the morgue for the Division of Anatomy.

As a Diener for the Body Donation Program, you will be responsible for receiving, processing, embalming, and storing human bodies acquired through the Body Donation Program. Your duties will include securing samples for serology testing, coordinating with external vendors, preparing anatomical materials for educational and research needs, maintaining donor inventory tracking, and ensuring the cleanliness of the morgue. You will also assist in the development of standard operating procedures and perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Anatomical Services.
