About the Role
As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining fleet vehicles according to company maintenance schedules and driver vehicle inspection reports. Your daily tasks will include diagnosing and troubleshooting vehicle issues, completing repairs and component replacements, and ensuring all safety devices on vehicles are operational. You will also maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and interact professionally with customers.
About You
Required:
- Experience using repair manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics necessary to troubleshoot or repair vehicle or component failure.
- Good mechanical aptitude for vehicle maintenance and repair.
Preferred:
- In-depth knowledge of truck components and systems.
- Experience repairing and performing maintenance on heavy trucks and diesel engines.
