About the Role
As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and assisting in training new employees. Your daily tasks will include diagnosing and repairing engines, hydraulic systems, and compressors, as well as performing preventive maintenance inspections and maintaining a clean work area.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in diesel and gasoline engine repair and rebuilding.
- Ability to read and write in English.
- Experience working with heavy equipment, hand tools, measuring devices, pressure gauges, and safety equipment.
Preferred:
- Ability to identify and define problems, gather and evaluate facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Experience in a loud work environment and ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds regularly.
