About the Role
As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for preparing, serving, and delivering meals to patients and staff according to daily menus and dietary guidelines. You will maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and food service areas, assist in ordering and organizing food inventory, and ensure compliance with health department standards. Collaboration with nursing and other departments to support patient meal needs is also a key aspect of this role.
About You
Required:
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions accurately.
- Positive attitude and team-focused mindset.
- Comfortable working in a healthcare setting and around patients.
- Excellent time management and multitasking skills.
- Valid Texas Food Handler’s Permit required (or willingness to obtain prior to start).
Preferred:
- Previous experience in a healthcare food service or kitchen environment preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
