About the Role
As a Dietary Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a wide variety of foods according to menus and recipes, planning cooking schedules to meet mealtime schedules, performing related duties and cleaning duties as assigned, directing other Food and Nutrition Services employees in the absence of the Food Service Director, and maintaining a clean and safe food preparation environment.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in commercial/volume food preparation required.
- Serve-Safe Certification required.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the spoken English language.
- Must provide verification of TST (tuberculin skin test) as required by state law and in accordance with Company policy.
- Ability to positively interact with residents/patients.
