About the Role
As a Dietitian, you will be responsible for collaborating with a multi-disciplinary treatment team, establishing goals for nutrition care, conducting assessments, and developing individualized nutrition care plans. You will provide medical nutrition therapy appropriate for patients' ages, modify nutrition regimens based on preferences, and document care plans in medical records. Additionally, you will provide nutrition education to patients and families, ensure safe care, and promote professional growth within the team.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in Food & Nutrition or related area.
- Must be registered with the ADA Commission on Dietetic Registration and licensed with Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation (TDLR).
- CPR Certification (Heart Saver only) from either American Red Cross or American Heart Association or obtained within six (6) months of hire.
- Completion of a qualified professional experience required for the registered dietitian exam administered by the ADA Commission on Dietetic Registration.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
Preferred:
- Master's degree if registration was obtained after Jan 1, 2024.
- Ability to interact positively with diverse individuals.
