Summary
Brown University Health is seeking a Director of Admitting, Registration, and Financial Clearance to provide strategic and operational leadership for all front-end revenue cycle services across the enterprise.
About the Role
The Director will oversee admitting, registration, pre-registration, insurance verification, financial counseling, and financial clearance functions for emergency, inpatient, and elective services. This role is responsible for transforming these services to create a streamlined, patient-centered experience, ensuring alignment with organizational goals for quality, access, efficiency, and revenue integrity.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a business, healthcare administration or related major.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in a healthcare setting, with at least 5 years in a leadership or management role.
- Extensive knowledge of front-end revenue cycle operations, including registration, insurance verification, and financial counseling.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a business, healthcare administration or related major.
- Experience with Epic and other healthcare IT systems.
- Experience in an academic medical center or managed care environment.
