About the Role
As a Direct Care Worker, you will assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. You will support clients with mobility, provide companionship, prepare meals, assist with medication reminders, perform light housekeeping, monitor clients' conditions, and accompany them to appointments. You will work closely with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift and assist clients as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred:
- Prior caregiving experience.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- CPR and First Aid certification.
