About the Role
As a Direct Support Professional, you will assist clients with personal care, including dietary, hygiene, bathing, grooming, and dressing needs. You will also support clients in their daily routines, facilitate community integration activities, and maintain a safe and healthy environment. Your responsibilities will include preparing meals, reporting incidents, and participating in the development of individual program plans.
About You
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 3+ years of experience supporting adults with developmental disabilities or mental illnesses.
- Valid in-state driver's license and a clean driving record.
Preferred:
- Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months.
- First Aid and CPR certification.
