As a Direct Support Professional (DSP), you will be responsible for assisting clients with various tasks such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and transportation. You will also report any instances of suspected abuse, maintain accurate documentation, and facilitate clients' inclusion in community activities. Your role will involve creating a secure and positive environment, encouraging self-help activities, and ensuring client safety.
About You
Required:
- High school degree/GED required.
- Must have a valid Georgia Driver's license and have operated a vehicle for three (3) years.
- Pass a Criminal Background Check.
- Must maintain at least liability vehicle insurance coverage.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work in a group home, home-like settings.
- Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel.
