As a Direct Support Professional 2, you will assist individuals with daily living activities, provide skills training, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards. Your responsibilities will include creating opportunities for independence, maintaining documentation, administering medications, and developing positive relationships with clients and their families.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED or at least 5+ years of verified experience in the same position.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to drive a large and/or wheelchair van with a valid US driver's license.
Preferred:
- A minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities.
- Computer literacy including proficiency in Microsoft products and web-based applications.
