About the Role
As a Direct Support Professional 3, you will assist individuals with disabilities in their daily activities, provide skills training, and ensure they receive the necessary medical and clinical support. You will also be responsible for maintaining documentation, administering medications, and developing positive relationships with guardians and family members. The position requires specialized training to address multiple disabilities and provide enhanced supervision.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or GED; Associate's Degree or DSP Certification preferred.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with people with developmental or psychiatric disabilities.
Preferred:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Valid driver's license and at least one year of driving experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products and web-based applications.
