Summary
Verland is seeking a Direct Support Professional (PT/2nd) to join their team in Pittsburgh, PA. The role involves providing exceptional care to individuals with complex physical, medical, and intellectual challenges.
About the Role
As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for individualized care and ongoing support for residents. Your daily tasks will include enriching the lives of residents, implementing individualized programs, assisting with personal hygiene, and participating in recreational activities. You will also handle housekeeping duties and transport clients to appointments.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma/GED
- Valid driver’s license
- Reliable means of transportation
- Ability to lift and transfer without restrictions
- Must pass a complete Background, Physical, and Drug screening
Preferred:
- Experience in caregiving or support roles is a plus, but not required.
