Summary
Allied Services is seeking a Direct Support Professional, Vocational Services to join their team in Scranton, PA. The role involves overseeing the social and vocational development of individuals in the Community Participation Supports Program.
About the Role
As a Direct Support Professional, you will be responsible for instructing, supervising, and coordinating activities of employees engaged in assembling parts or assemblies in support of workshop contracts. You will implement assigned duties in a manner appropriate to the age-specific needs of the individuals served, exercising full supervision over ten production employees.
About You
Required:
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- One year’s experience working with individuals who are mentally/physically disabled.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
