About the Role
As a Direct Support Staff member, you will assist individuals with daily living activities, administer medication, follow Individual Support Plans (ISPs), and support community integration through activities and events. You will work closely with residents, their families, and other team members to create a welcoming and safe environment.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent degree.
- Excellent interpersonal, judgment, and coaching skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to utilize basic computer applications.
- Must hold a valid driver's license and have access to an operational and insured vehicle.
Preferred:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Demonstrated understanding of and competence in serving culturally diverse populations.
