About the Role
As a Directional Drill Operator, you will be responsible for site preparation, installation of underground conduit, and vaults/pedestals. You will interpret construction drawings, ensure adherence to safety regulations, and collaborate with team members to meet project goals. Your role will also include operating various equipment related to OSP construction and maintaining company vehicles and tools.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent with relevant experience.
- Experience working as a Horizontal Drilling locator.
- Ability to read and understand OSP maps and designs.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor in various weather conditions.
- Valid driver's license; CDL preferred but not required.
Preferred:
- Punctuality and a strong work ethic to ensure project timelines are met.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
