About the Role
As the Director - Clinical Design Physician, you will lead cross-functional teams to develop clinical trial protocols and strategies for phase II and III studies. Your responsibilities will include translating therapeutic area strategies into clinical development plans, collaborating with clinical research staff, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will also engage with external experts and contribute to scientific data dissemination.
About You
Required:
Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy, board eligible or certified in relevant specialty.
At least three years of pharmaceutical industry experience with a strong grounding in drug development and clinical trial principles.
Minimum of three years of experience in clinical trial design, including statistical methods and regulatory standards.
Preferred:
Leadership experience in clinical trial design for proof of concept or registration studies.
Board certification in a specialty relevant to Diabetes comorbidities.
Strong understanding of Diabetes-related comorbidities and treatment standards.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
MBA or relevant training in life sciences business.
