Gong is seeking a Director - Marketing Strategic Finance to join their team in Salt Lake City, UT. The role involves leading FP&A for all marketing strategy and partnering closely with the Marketing Leadership team to drive growth through marketing investments.
About the Role
As the Director of Strategic Finance for Marketing, you will manage a team of strategic finance professionals, partner with the Marketing leadership team to model long-term P&L trajectories, and lead financial analysis on pipeline and funnel metrics. You will also be responsible for forecasting and budgeting, preparing management presentations, and building complex financial models to support strategic investments.
About You
Required:
- 8+ years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, equity research, strategy consulting, or strategic/corp finance, preferably in a high-tech or enterprise software company.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related discipline.
Preferred:
- Proven business partnership experience with C-suite executives.
- Deep experience with financial applications including ERP, CRM, and financial planning applications.
- Familiarity with SaaS metrics and experience in defining marketing investment models.
- Experience working in a startup environment.
