Summary
PMG is seeking a Director, AI & Software Engineering to join their team in Dallas, TX. The role involves leading distributed engineering teams to develop innovative AI-driven solutions and manage product roadmaps.
About the Role
As the Director of AI & Software Engineering, you will lead 2-4 distributed teams responsible for 1-3 products within the Alli suite. Your responsibilities include providing technical oversight, ensuring timely delivery of functionalities, collaborating with product teams, and managing team performance and quality standards.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior engineering IC role.
- At least 3 years of experience in an engineering manager role while still being hands-on.
- Experience in a manager-of-managers role.
- Deep expertise with modern technologies for building highly scalable data-intensive applications.
Preferred:
- Hands-on experience or working interest in GenAI, Large Language Models, Big Data, OpenAI, Gemini, Bedrock, etc.
- Interest or familiarity working in the Digital Marketing industry.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, Ansible, Chef or Puppet.
- Master's Degree.
