About the Role
As a Director, Asset Management Risk Operations, you will be responsible for leading assessments, making decisions on control environments, and assisting the leadership team with executive presentations and project status reports. You will work closely with business partners to assess risk areas and support departmental goals, managing multiple projects and delivering high-quality work.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree preferred.
- 8-12 years’ experience in financial services or consulting.
- Project management experience.
- In-depth knowledge of operational risk management and controls development.
- Knowledge of alternative product requirements and operations.
- Knowledge of key regulations (Investment Adviser's Act, Sarbanes-Oxley).
Preferred:
- A self-starter skilled at operating autonomously in a dynamic environment.
- Superb verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding relationship management and facilitation skills.
- Strong collaborator with the ability to influence others across the organization.
- Ability to build executive level presentations and visualizations.
