About the Role
As the Director of Benefits, you will shape Freddie Mac's benefits strategy, oversee vendor partnerships, and ensure operational excellence in benefits administration. You will lead a team to deliver seamless benefit plan administration, manage a significant benefits budget, and guide the evolution of benefit plan design while ensuring compliance with regulations. Your leadership will foster a culture of collaboration and innovation, and you will serve as a trusted advisor to senior HR leadership.
About You
Required:- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 15 years of continuous experience in employee benefits, with at least 7-10 years focused specifically on benefits strategy, design, and administration for a large, complex organization.
- Professional certification such as CEBS (Certified Employee Benefit Specialist) or similar.
Preferred:- Demonstrated experience leading benefits strategy, design, and execution.
- Extensive experience with vendor selection, contract negotiation, and performance management in the benefits space.
- Strong analytical and financial management skills.
- Experience with self-insured health plans, retiree medical actuarial valuation processes, and claims analytics.
