About the Role
As the Director of Biologics Product Development, you will lead all aspects of biologics drug product development from early development through commercialization. You will develop late-stage and commercial launch strategies for pre-filled syringe (PFS) manufacturing, provide technical guidance to cross-functional teams, and ensure timely delivery of clinical supplies. Your responsibilities will include developing phase-appropriate strategies, analyzing technical data, and collaborating with various teams to support regulatory submissions.
About You
Required:
- PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or Biochemical Engineering with 12+ years of industry experience in sterile process development for biologics.
- 5+ years of managerial experience in directing internal biologics development teams or at CDMOs.
- Proven track record in advancing injectable biologics drug products, especially monoclonal antibodies in PFS, from early development through commercialization.
Preferred:
- Experience with the device aspects of combination products, such as auto-injector.
- Strong technical leadership, project management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
