About the Role
As a Director, Compliance Governance & Monitoring, you will be responsible for developing firm-wide policies and procedures for compliance, establishing governance structures, monitoring changes in legislation, collaborating with business functions to assess compliance programs, and supporting reporting to management and the board of directors regarding the effectiveness of KPMG's ethics and compliance program.
About You
Required:
- Minimum ten years of recent experience in compliance, risk management, legal, or related fields, preferably within a professional services or regulated industry.
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required.
Preferred:
- Master's degree, Juris Doctor or Advanced degree from an accredited college or university.
- Demonstrated experience in supporting enterprise-wide compliance programs and governance frameworks.
- Solid understanding of regulatory requirements, risk management principles, and compliance monitoring methodologies.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex information and present actionable insights to management.
