Summary

GE HealthCare is seeking a Director, EHS & Facilities to lead a team in Salt Lake City, UT. The role involves overseeing environmental health and safety compliance, facilities maintenance, and enhancing business growth through effective management of the campus.

About the Role

As the Director, EHS & Facilities, you will manage all aspects of EHS projects and permits, establish environmental programs, provide compliance support, lead facilities strategy, manage building maintenance, and ensure regulatory compliance. You will also oversee the campus security program and manage budgets for projects and maintenance.

About You

Required:

Bachelor of Science in Environmental, Civil, or Chemical Engineering, Hydrogeology or Geology or related technical discipline and 8 years’ experience in Environmental Health and Safety or facilities maintenance.
Regulatory knowledge and experience with U.S. federal and state regulations such as CERCLA, RCRA, OSHA.
Proven project and program management skills.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Preferred:

Advanced degree (MS) and/or professional certifications (PG, PE, LSP, etc.).
Experience managing multiple projects and responsibilities in a team environment.
Excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
